Jen Guffey is the Remote Recruiting Manager at Capital Financial Strategies in Jacksonville, Florida, having joined the team in November 2019. She has been in the financial services industry since 2007. Jen is a Registered Representative of Securian Financial Services, Inc. Registrations held include FINRA Series 6, 26, 51 and 63, as well as the Florida 2-15 (Life, Accident, Health and Variable Annuity and Florida 2-20 (Property & Casualty) licenses. She started with Allstate Insurance, where she held numerous positions, including New Agency Consultant and Field Sales Leader (ND, SD, WY, IA, NE), Agency Manager (KS, NE) and Business Development Director (working with 30+ Allstate Agencies, as a Premier Benefits Specials with Allstate Benefits, across the West Central Region). In 2014, Jen joined Prudential Advisors as a Talent Acquisition Manager (KS, MO, AR), moving with the role to Florida in 2016. In 2018, she earned National Trophy recognition, as the #1 TAM in the country.
At Capital Financial Strategies, Jen’s primary focus is to expand the company’s Southeast footprint. Enhanced growth allows the team to continually and consistently help the communities they serve, by working with individuals and small businesses on wealth management, protection planning, investment strategies, retirement strategies, tax saving approaches, and more.
Jen graduated from South Dakota State University in 1994 with a degree in Journalism & Marketing. Prior to joining the financial services industry, she worked in radio sales, media and PR. Born and raised in South Dakota, she slowly made her way south to the palm trees and isn’t looking back! Her hobbies include yoga, paddle boarding, snorkeling, fishing, boating, making jewelry and painting. Jen resides in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
