Louis F. Body
Lou Body was the first person to join Capital Financial Strategies, acting as the firm's Investment Specialist and Senior Financial Advisor. He has over 20+ years of industry experience, focusing his efforts on helping individuals and small businesses with wealth management, protection planning, investment strategies, retirement planning and tax saving strategies. His practice is centered on Financial Planning and Education for his clients. He is an affiliated instructor with the Financial Educators Network and has recently taught a retirement class held at University of Northern Florida.
Lou worked on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, then as a Senior Equity Sales Trader with DLJ and Credit Suisse. He has been working as a Financial Advisor since 2007, doing business as Crimson Financial for Principal Financial and then MetLife. He is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative and his securities registrations include 7, 63 and 65, and he is life, accident and health insurance licensed.
Lou graduated from Harvard University in 1994, where he played 4 years of both Varsity Ice Hockey and Varsity Golf, captaining the later his senior year. Following graduation, he trained with the Florida Panthers of the NHL and played two years of minor league hockey before retiring due to an injury. He has been married for 16 years, has three children and has resided in Jacksonville region for six years. His hobbies include Golf, Tennis, and Woodworking.
